There rates are too high. Got an Auto loan approved for 8.5% without doing a credit check and they said there wont be any difference in the rates even if they run a hard inquiry (my around 775). I got a 5.99% from my auto company financing and that was the best rate available in the market. The rates shown in the website are super phenomenal. They are not gonna offer it to anyone.

Absolute joke of a company. The phone service is cartoonishly incompetent. I've been told variously that there's no restrictions on my account, that the restrictions are because they couldn't find my credit report, that they lost my id, and that they could find my credit report but my score of over 700 is not enough to give me a regular savings account with which to make use of my own money. Instead I got put on a 5 month restricted account THAT I CANT WITHDRAW MY OWN MONEY FROM. Only one person knew why and when they told me they treated me like a criminal. Why is every other bank normal but this one is crazy? I collect credit unions and this is the worst experience I've ever had in my life. It's not just one or two people there, it's like they're all under a magic spell that makes them unable to help you and fills their head with lies to get you off the phone.

Horrible customer service. They repo'd my daughters car for two months missed payments after she called and said she was sending it. The next day they repo'd it. They agreed to wait and repo'd it at midnight the same day. Slimy as can be. We paid the whole car off for her so we'd be done with the awful people. Everytime you call they have different info. Shame on you Pen Fed

I very much regret for starting my car loan with penfed! For every freaking payment I have to call them! They don’t listen and apply the late payment charge on my account. Today was the fifth time I called them! Hate their service!!!

So far Penfed did not deposit micro amounts into my account that I wanted to link with them. I cannot begin banking until they do so.

Terrible experience, i have an auto loan with pen fed and although the dealership I purchased the vehicle dropped the ball on the title pens fed has done little to assist. Their customer service department is not educated and has advised me on 2 separate occasions to go to the dmv when they cannot assist me since pen fed has to pay them directly. Then all they needed to do is email me paper work to get this situated but it’s been over 2 weeks and I couldn’t even get that. When I asked if anything can be done for my inconvenience they told me no. So you can give people misinformation, drags your feet in the process and it is as if them wasting my time energy and money was for no reason. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

horrible experience with this company! i have an auto loan with them that i cant see the monthly statements for, ive called them multiple time to get this addressed so i can see my principle and interest charges, still no help. You're just expected to pay blindly without knowing what your paying for
