This hotel feels very outdated and isn't as clean as it should be. Everything is below average. The hallways smell musty and like mildew. The rooms are old and seem only partially cleaned. The pillows were terrible, and we questioned if the bedding had even been changed. There was no room service, so beds were not made and garbage wasn't taken out during the day. The air conditioning consists of old units in the wall, which didn't keep up. The bathroom was unimpressive, with a tub that drained slowly, filling with water during showers. The toilet is so close to the counter that it's cramped when using it. The pool was empty and unusable. The front door glass was smashed, and no one answered the phone at the front office. The place is quite run down. Meadow Lake doesn’t seem to have many hotel options, but we couldn't wait to leave this one.

Good to be a squeaky wheel. Had a bad experience with the unprofessionalism at Travelodge in Meadow Lake. The rooms were dirty, used towels in the tub, beds not made. They had no elevator after making us go up the flights with luggage to discover this. Their pool also was not working. They refused to give a discount so we called the higher ups and we got a full refund! They alleged it was due to booking online (reason for online booking was due to them not answering the phones). First manager said he could give us a discount but the man at the desk this morning was rude and unprofessional and alleged he was unwilling to be of any support.

Rooms were clean. Maid staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were accommodating in allowing us to store our very expensive bikes in our room.

Rooms are kind of old, but has a nice layout. Breakfast is adequate. Parking layout is a bit cramped. Front desk was brilliant!

The service was good, room was clean, breakfast was very good for continental. The only reason we didn’t give a 5/5 was because the pool and hot tub were shut down. We will likely always chose this hotel

Should have read the reviews before coming here. Where to start? Front desk lady was EXTREMELY rude and dishonest. Put us in a smoking room and tried to tell us it was non smoking (two ash trays and the room smelled like smoke). Tried to relocate us to the first floor when I complained about it (theres no elevator). Pool didnt work, and I’m 100% sure I saw bed bugs. I got completely disgusted and left the hotel. She told me she couldnt cancel my reservation and that I have to “go online”. Worst hotel experience Ive had. Absolutely disgusted.

The hotel smelled off and the staff was not attentive and not friendly at all. It felt like we were not welcome even though we paid for our room. For the duration of our stay, we noticed that there was hardly anyone at the front desk. It was always empty. We got a room with a King bed and upon arrival, the room smelled off as if it was smoked in. There were a lot of flies in our room and as we opened the curtain, we were shocked to see how many flies were by the window. We immediately returned to the front desk and asked if we could have a change of room. They said they were booked up so we had to be downgraded into a smaller room. The next room wasn't clean either but unfortunately, that was our only option. The towels did not seem clean either as they were stained and discoloured. ||When we checked out the next day, we asked the front desk if there was any type of compensation because we got downgraded due to the issue with the room they provided but the staff completely ignored what we said and checked us out anyway. She seemed to be occupied with something else and was rude to us. ||Like other reviews, the pool was supposedly under maintenance. I can surely confirm that it has been "under maintenance" for over a year now. Definitely overpriced and not worth the price for what we had to pay. ||Would not recommend staying at the Travelodge Meadow Lake to anyone.

Probably the nicest hotel in town. Rooms are clean, free breakfast that starts at 5am, there is a small pool and hot tub but it was closed during my stay. Parking wasnt an issue. Rooms are decently priced.
