I worked for Sangamon Medical Associates and had my choice of any doctor there. I'm extremely happy I chose Dr. Comerford. He's treated our family from newborns to geriatric and is an amazing doctor for all of us. He always listens to every concern, answers every question with patience, never talks down to anyone, doesn't use a lot of "doctor speak" that's hard to understand and has figured out how to successfully treat every problem we've had for over 20 years. Simply put, he's a fantastic doctor. All of us deeply admire and have great respect for him.

I absolutely love being a patient of Dr. Comerford. If I'm being honest, I wasn't initially a fan because his bedside manner is different than many doctors, but I came to realize that different is good in this case. He is great with kids but also with adults of all ages. For a while my insurance didn't cover his services but I'm so thankful that I now call him my Dr. again. Can't say enough good things about him.

Dr. Comerford is seriously the best Family Doctor on the planet! We started going to him back in 2001, when my son was first born and I'd had a very unpleasant experience with his first pediatrician. Shortly thereafter, the rest of our family switched over to him for primary care. He always listens, asks questions, never makes you feel rushed, always makes you feel like your concerns are being taken seriously. You feel like an important patient and not just a number or a name. He is always willing to listen and discuss and explore options, but doesn't prescribe anything unnecessary. My kids and I love him, and I just recently found out that several of my "Mom Friends" take their kids to him and love him just as much as we do. I hope he never retires!

His bedside manner is wonderful. If doc did fire a patient there must if been something very very obsurd going on with said patient.
