Dr has on her profile she is a rehabilitation doctor and pain management. Got to my appointment and was told by medical assistant that doctor only handles back pain does not do meds and would not see me. Would put negative stars but that was not an option. Very unprofessional. Needs to know what her profile says. Waste of my time. Should send her a bill.

Dr. Malalis & her assistant Lisa were honestly more than wonderful. I went into the office scared with anxiety & they both really listened & heard me. I was calmed & reassired. I felt very much like I was amongst friends.

Dr. Malalis has done more for my ailments than any of the other medical doctors I have been seeing for my symptoms. I feel hope for the first time in a long time.

I would recommend them to anyone in need of a neck specialist - in a heartbeat ❤

I have had neck and back pain for many years and have gone to several different specialists in different states. Dr. Malalis has been the doctor who actually explains the results of my MRIs as often times specialists are too busy to take time with their patients.
Looking at the MRIs can be upsetting because you actually see the abnormalities in your spine. Dr. Malalis has been excellent in explaining the MRIs, various treatment plans, and my questions on medication including the long range effects of the medication. She is very caring, thorough and never makes one feel "rushed".
I am, for the most part, pain "free" even though my spine hasn't changed because of her treatment plan.

I am an avid walker, any time of the day, all seasons, any weather. An addict you might say. With mulitiple disc problems in both my neck and lower back, I can get into a considerable amount of pain. Who keeps me walking...Dr Malalis! She has sucessfully reduced my pain level to near zero percent. Seeing a specialist for the first time can be intimidating. I was immediately at ease with this doctor. She listens with compassion and discusses options, giving you however long it takes to make decisions about your care. Cortizone injections are given with the upmost concern for your comfort. Dr Malalalis talks you through the entire process, informing you of each step she takes. My satisfaction could not be better than with this doctor. Highly recommend. MOI is fortunate to have her and I am delighted to work with her.

I am so Thankful I found her. I was hurt at work so bad and after I have seen other Dr from worker's Comp wich they did nothing for me. Dr Malalis heard my pain and help me with my severe pains. I was limping for over a year and with her help I limp just a little not as severe as before. My pain is getting better. But not pain free 🙁 . Dr. J. Malalis D.O. became my Physiatrist on 3/19/19 replacing Dr. C. Faubel M.D. who relocated his practice. Both doctors are very good but now that I have had time to compare the two, Dr. Malalis gets that fifth star. She has an excellent "bed side manner", talks and listens well, and is quite experienced. She clearly explains the details of an ongoing procedure to the patient which is very psychologically reassuring. Grateful to have her as my spine doctor.
