I loved everything about this place. The food was so good, and all of the servers were awesome. The plant based creations were so good. My favorite was the fried chicken sandwich and the fries. The young lady explained it all so well you could tell she is passionate about the food. They also offer THC, which was not for me, but someone else may enjoy it. It can be added to anything. They have a 9 course meal event where THC is in all the food and drinks. Looks fancy! Lol

I walked in and was immediately greeted. Ordered at the register and sat at the counter. I was offered water and every person spoke to me! Warm and welcoming is the best way to describe it.

The food was good but not as good as the hype. It lacked that last UMPH to take it to the next level. I ordered takeout so maybe that impacted the flavor. The Mac and Cheese was super runny but the noodles were ?. The burger was the best. I should have ordered 2 of them instead of the Mac.

Overall, I would come back, but I would dine in and try different menu items.

I tried this place on 3 different days & the 3rd time was not the charm.

My first visit I got the lo mein without tofu and it was good, not too shabby. The second time i ordered the Lo Mein every bite HAD to be followed up with water because I’m absolutely sure i had hit my sodium intake in that one dish for the day. There was no reason for it to be that salty.

The next thing i tried was the kimchi fried rice that was good with the tofu, balanced not as flavorful but balanced when you pair it with the egg rolls.
Now the egg rolls were the stars of the show. Absolutely delish would definitely recommend those and that’s probably it.

Now on my final try. I had the buffalo mac and cheese and talk about absolutely disappointing. Whoever is making mac and cheese needs to be taught how actual mac and cheese works. It was probably the soupiest mac and cheese i have ever had, one of the worst mac and cheese dishes I’ve ever had. Annie’s vegan boxed mac and cheese is on a pedestal thanks to that macaroni attempt I was served. It was honestly just that bad - wouldn’t even give that to a pet and i don’t even own one. That dish ruined my dining experience here and certainly a one and done.

Takeaways:

Your dining experience may be much better in person/dinning it, all mine were to go.

Order those egg rolls, they slap.

Have water on standby.

Yes to the lo Mein and beg for a light sauce or less salt or something.

Would highly recommend this place even if you’re not vegan.

Food: 4/5 for vegan!
We got the naughty cowgirl and smac down burgers. Both of them were juicy and full points for the flavours, however the bean patty was slightly dry but juicy overall.

Sweet potato fires were point on!

The plastic plates and baskets could be replaced to make the food more enjoyable for the price point. The waitstaff was great!

S’mores milkshake was too sweet and overpowering. Personally, I’d not recommend the milkshakes here.

Ambience: 3.8/5

Get outside seating if you can. It’s by the street and the mint green chairs add to the ambience.
Inside feels too close to the I kitchen.

Parking: couple parking spots in the synergy gas station.

Although we are not vegan, my daughter has a diary allergy which can be tough as many places add buttermilk even to their chicken nuggets. It is nice for her to have free range of options to choose from. This place is a great addition to the area. I recommend the burger and the shakes. The hot dog was not good it was likened to eating an eraser, but once again from a non-vegan perspective. We plan to return and try out some desserts.

My girlfriend and I LOVED this place! It has a fun, all vegan, menu and everything we tried was perfect. It has a diner feel to it which is rare in the vegan world - and I was able to have some of my favorite brunch items like French toast sticks without having to worry about if it has egg or not in it. We also decided to end our meal with dessert.. and omg, we were not expecting the MOUNTAIN of a milkshake we got. It was glorious. Highly recommend this place! If you're local to the triangle area, it's worth the drive out to Apex!

The Dirty V is the place to explore unique vegan flavor combos. We ordered pickup and tried the Locoburrito with Takis on top, and my husband had a patty melt with waffle fries. Everything was really good!
