I visited King Slayer Games over half a year ago, and it has become my go-to place for miniature painting supplies, Pokémon cards (thanks to their great values and deals), and Star Wars Unlimited. The staff even taught me a bit about the game! Additionally, I appreciate that they sell sleeves at competitive prices—often $2-4 less than other card stores. I've never been a Trading Card Game player before, and to be honest I've been intimidated by the gameplay and by the players in the past. So much to remember, the learning curve, and the competition with seasoned players.

I discovered Kingslayer (Lake Forest) Dec. '23 at a Learn to Play event for Disney Lorcana. I was pleasantly surprised to find a knowledgeable and approachable staff, a fun and easy to comprehend 1-on-1 tutorial on how to play, and the most warm and welcoming community of people just like me; looking to play and have a great time with authentic people, building friendships and connection.

I've recently joined their weekly Lorcana League group, and now I've got an amazing group of friends who I look forward to seeing each week. I've been more happy these last 5 weeks than I've been in the last five years thanks to this amazing little piece of nerd-heaven in Lake Forest. Thank you so much.

I've been to most of the shops within 20 miles, this is my favorite right now. Playing Magic and Disney Lorcana. Their Sunday Lorcana League is easily the most fun, friendliest Lorcana scene in OC, and their Magic events are always well attended.

The store is well laid out, brightly lit, and has a great selection. No dingy game store here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is active on social media, so you know what events are when and can see that their communities are active!
