I have been waiting 5 weeks for my license to come through after I was told it would take 2. I have left many messages for Pura Franco and with a woman named Beverly. There was no delay in cashing my check. however, I have sent all required documents needed for verification via email/snail mail and left messages via phone countless times. I have had NO response from anyone, and my licenses are still pending. I'm appalled this dept treats health professionals this way. I have never had this problem obtaining a license in ANY other state. It's absolutely absurd and incredibly frustrating. I can't start my job until this is complete!

The lady i spoke to didn't have any knowledge on how i could renew my license, gave me false information, and sounded very bothered when i asked questions. Transferred to a full voice-mail every time i called. Not helpful at all

I have been trying to get a copy of my son’s birth certificate from vital records for close to two weeks since my initial request. They are closed for walk in service so it says to use the drop box option in the building which is to be checked daily. When I called a week later, the person who I spoke to said it was only received the day before. I called and left 2 messages; one for general inquiry & the other for the supervisor of vital records and still no call back. The recording states a call back should be expected within 24-48hrs. I suggest an update to walk in services or simply change the postings on the website & inside the building with accurate information. The processing time is very misleading. It would be nice to speak with someone to get an understanding of why it is taking 2 weeks for me to get my requested document.

Very unprofessional!!! I've been trying to Establish contact with this lady for months about my Nursing license, I haven't even been able to contact her. Terrible, and I've been dealing in this profession, For the last 30 years. first time I've ever encountered Such ignorance for this profession.

Submitted an application for licensure weeks ago and everything was fine an pending except grad status. So to ensure my license would post I turned in my transcripts sealed and official personally. All for them to say it’s going to take a month?! They were super quick to cash my check though. And they’re saying no one can help me and my license is delayed because the only person who does the license for my job is quarantined. Ridiculous.

Every time I’ve had to do anything with them they are the least helpful place I’ve ever dealt with. First off they contacted me and I have tried to reach back out 6 times the last week and have been told every time “oh that lady who contacted you is unavailable try this phone number” I’ve left voicemails on several different numbers they provided trying to get help. And after over a week not a single voicemail was answered and I have even left a second one after the first five days. My job and my career depend on these people to do their job and work with me on getting my professional licensing sorted out. I had the same type of issues with them two years ago when I moved to that state. Not only are they u helpful but they also were very rude in one of my conversations I had with a lady in the building when I decided to go there myself.
